Lead Dentist
As the Lead Dentist at Port Dover Family Dentistry, Dr. Bukhari is dedicated to providing every client with the best possible dental experience. He graduated from King Georges Medical University in India in 1991 and the University of Western Ontario in 2015.
Throughout his career, he’s researched the microbiology of gum diseases and has performed all different types of treatments including root canals, surgeries, dentures, cosmetic dentistry, bridges and veneers. Dr. Bukhari takes an evidence-based approach to his treatments and places emphasis on the preventative aspects of dentistry. He is passionate about continuing his education to stay up to date on the latest methods and technologies of modern dentistry. Dr. Bukhari wants every patient to feel comfortable when they come in for treatment, and his office is incredibly family-oriented, fully digital and paperless. In addition to English, he can engage with patients in Hindu, Urdu, and Arabic.
Outside of work, Dr. Bukhari loves spending time with his family, watching action and comedy movies, and staying active with sports, running, and going to the gym.

Dr. Syed Bukhari and his staff, they were focused on reducing my anxiety and on making my visits pleasant,, from Dr. S,, with his perfect numbing,, and painless procedure, , he was excellent fast , gentle and professional . Hygenist Erin, very thorough , and they both washed away any apprehension I had .
I have to say this was my first experience in years that I’ve had dental work procedures while AWAKE,!! I am very pleased to be a new patient . THANKS

Honestly I’ve been terrified of the dentist since I was super young. So I’ve avoided it most of my life. But I knew I had to get work done and it was time to bite the bullet. I don’t think anyone genuinely loves going to the dentist… however, they make the experience worth it. They don’t judge you for how long it’s been, how bad of condition your teeth are in, but they also don’t sugar coat it either and let you know what you need to do going forward. They make every experience nearly painless. Front desk staff is always super friendly and they remember you by name. This is THE place to go. You will feel safe and comfortable. This is very important if you are someone who is afraid of the dentist. I’ve been here a lot in the past couple months and never had a single bad experience. My fear is almost completely gone. Thank you

Let's face it, going to the dentist is probably not at the top of anyone's To Do list! However, visiting Port Dover Dentistry has never been anything other that positive for me! The clinic is always spotless clean and the staff are absolutely 💯 the best! Very professional and very friendly, always a positive experience!

I visited Port Dover Family Dentistry for a routine teeth cleaning and a dental filling, and I had a great experience from start to finish. The clinic is modern, clean, and welcoming. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient.
Dr. Bukhari was professional, patient, and explained everything clearly before starting the procedures. The cleaning was thorough but gentle — I didn’t feel rushed at all. For the filling, Dr. Bukhari made sure I was completely comfortable, and the process was virtually painless. He took his time to ensure the filling looked and felt natural.
